Selected international public opinion research
This section presents findings from established polling and survey organizations, with concise editorial summaries and direct links to the original sources.
Iran in international surveys
These selected indicators provide specific snapshots rather than a complete picture of Iranian society or the economy. The original reports should be consulted for methodology, population, fieldwork dates and context.
Perceptions of the local job market — Gallup
Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace country data reported that 20% of respondents in Iran in 2025 viewed the local job market as a good time to find a job, compared with 13% in 2023 and 18% in 2024.
Original source →Employee engagement — Gallup
The same Gallup country data reported employee engagement at 12% in 2025, compared with 11% in 2023 and 2024. The figure remains below the relevant regional average, so the year-to-year increase should not be read in isolation.
Original source →Daily stress — Gallup
Gallup reported daily stress among employees in Iran at 46% in 2025, down from 48% in 2024. This is a two-percentage-point change, not evidence by itself of a broad social trend.
Original source →Social connectedness — Gallup / Meta
In the Global State of Social Connections research, 76% of respondents in Iran described themselves as very or fairly socially connected.

We prioritize identifiable research organizations, accessible original reports, methodological transparency and direct relevance to public opinion. Shideh’s summaries are editorial notes and do not replace the original publication.
